i keep getting "pay unit err 17" as soon as i start the fruit machine, the machine is return of the count and has a scorpion 4 board also the hopper dosnt dump and the hopper motor dosnt spin.everthing was working a week ago i came across this web page ehich says abount unemulatled hardware?? sounds like either the hopper has been unplugged or jammed solid.

you will need to completly empty the hopper by hand and see if it will spin with no coins in it.

if it still doesn't spin then you may well have a faulty hopper.

tried all that:( resetting ram etc , the % key is at 82% but the actual % is at 0% would that effect it? is there a way to complely reset the machine or a way to test the hopper?
ps everytime i fill the hopper with £125 and try a hopper dump the motor dosnt spin an still say £125 short:(

resetting the ram and % will not make the slightest bit of difference as bazpeeb say's u have to check the hopper and make sure NO coins are jammed

try turning the hopper bowl manually and if it won't turn then u got a £1 coin jammed in there
