If I could have a fiver for every time you wade in at the back end of an argument involving longstanding scene members from outside of the FE clique, basically telling us all to 'feck off'™ or whatever with your genius, trademark generic response, I'd be able to retire about now.
May I remind you that if it wasn't for some of the people contributing to this thread there wouldn't even be an FME scene, at least nothing resembling the one we have, warts and all (Dialtone for jpmemu and MFME input for starters, AT for umpteen superlative layouts over the years, Trouty/Bugs for innumerable classics upon which so many DXes have been built, not to mention their being fine layouts in their own right.
)Part of the whole raison d'être of a public forum like this is to provide the necessary platform for members of the scene to air their views and grievances for that matter, and hopefully get stuff resolved. If you not capable of understanding that then the fault lies with you I'm afraid, not them. If you've nothing constructive to add, perhaps it would be better for you to simply wind your neck in?

Tell you what, how about a mutual project?
Next time some roms and art turn up maybe Geddy could start a classic while FW starts on some artwork for it and swap ideas about how it should look. Once the classic is done they could then work together on knocking out a stunning DX. You never know, these two working together could possibly raise the bar even further.
I'll chip in too if you like
