Tell you what, how about a mutual project?
Next time some roms and art turn up maybe Geddy could start a classic while FW starts on some artwork for it and swap ideas about how it should look. Once the classic is done they could then work together on knocking out a stunning DX. You never know, these two working together could possibly raise the bar even further.

I think both Trouty and A.T have created some excellent stuff in the past and I think that together they would produce some awesome layouts.
Surely it's better to read posts in FME land that contain new layouts and other FME related stuff than to get stuck in endless multi quote feuds!
I wasn't around in FME land during it's heyday (pre 2004) and would love to see the FME scene go from strength to strength so that the good old days may someday return.

My site doesn't encourage debate, shit slinging or non fme related chat. So I find it quite difficult to see how that's going to happen.
I don't encourage posting rubbish about what's in the news, am not trying to make friends and certainly won't let any of my members spam a hate campaign all over my forum like you have.
Each to their own, but as I say I can't see that situation arising because FME is really rather simple and doesn't need to involve all the shit.

But that's the thing. I don't need anyone's help. And I certainly cannot have anything to do with someone who has the attitude he has.
So, it's a simple case of "when two kids cannot play well together you should seperate them"
Not try and force one to do things he isn't happy with.
Actually it's been kind of upsetting that I have had to.
1. Obtain all of my recent resources myself.
2. Do all of the work myself.
3. Have to work out all my own problems.
But that was always going to be obvious. I do take donations of resources and ETC with great gratitude but I've always been a 'go getter' and thus am used to doing stuff by myself.
And if everyone did the same we would have hundreds of layout designers who could supply themselves and donate to the cause. But of course not.
I have about 20 arcades close by me and have visited them all with my friend and his kids. This way I simply ask the kids to stand by a fruit machine and I can legally take as many pics as I like.
At which point then I have to come back and do the rest myself.
If ten people in the FME community did that or something to that effect again I wouldn't feel the way I do.
But they don't do they?
Recently I have seen numerous members here pimping fruit machines for sale that either have a shit DX or not one at all, completely forgetting of course that FME layouts come from photos or scans.
So as I say, to that ends I have accepted how FME is. And, because of that I'll either do it myself or not at all.

No worries Dad I appreciate it tbh.
It's just that it reached the stage years ago where I just don't want anything to do with him.
I've learned to live along side him and stay out of his way. That should be able to work both ways.
The last thing I want tbh is people trying to force me into something I wouldn't be happy with

As per topic. Would you like to see a total end to the Trouty/Fruitworkz feud and a truce called?
I will let this poll run for a few days to a week then if the results are a YES then I will invite Fruitworkz to post his 'conditions.' (Although I think he already has in another thread)
I will then address these to the best of my ability and post mine for him to do the same.
Hopefully then it can all be over.
(Posting comments here is not 'really' needed if you know what I mean, a simple vote would be sufficient.)

Guess so hehe. Maybe you could have made a nick around a hobby or old nick name from school or something.
I guess everyone has a good reason for choosing their forum nick names.
Brighteyes has been my nickname since i was a baby and i new if i came in as MrsDT someone would have thought that i was just doing it to stick up for certain people. lol
