Hi all I'm not the best with fruit machines and have never fitted a note acceptor before. So i just wanted to know if i buy a Nv4 acceptor off eBay for £35inc delivery, how hard is it to fit? I have the loom in place with four connectors one for for Japan cash note one for lumina and two for the NV type.Is it as easy as fitting it then turning a dil switch on?
My machine is a warped made by global games and all dils are currently off. Any help is appreciated Thanks Chris :bigeyes16:

depends on the machine, some have specific roms for note acceptors which may need updating.

You can just plug it in and it should work with Warped. You may need to reset the security key on the NV tho, if its the same as the Lumina acceptors. This is done using a DIL switch.

No worries mate :-)

If you get a lumina acceptor, then I can give you a list of step by step instructions to install it (once you have installed them a couple of times, it takes literally 2 minutes).

If you get an NV style, your on your own :-))

However, as I've said somewhere else, if you get a lumina, only use it for your own personal use, because they are the most easily fraudable acceptors around.

you cant just buy a note acceptor and hope that it works, also you need to look at the machine and asses if you need a bracket or indeed will it fit in the first place.

just trying to help

Quite an intresting bit of kit this: AWP System - Epoch Eclipse

Not so sure I like the idea of it mainly being a sealed unit though.

Even more intresting is this on the Manu page....

OneStop is able to satisfy production requirements through links with manufacturing companies, most notably our Derby based partner Tioga.

Tioga is an ISO accredited manufacturing facility with comprehensive capability from fine pitch surface mount assembly, high speed automatic test to complete box production facilities.

Hi all, I’m new on here (and to owning a fruit machine) and hoping to get some help from you guys.
Like Woodey (the OP) I also recently bought a Warped machine running on eclipse tech. It came with a bezel for a Lumina note acceptor, which had been removed.
The machine also came with a note acceptor loom in place – with 4 connectors – one for JCM, two NV and one for Lumina.
I’ve now bought a Lumina note acceptor and I’m trying to get it to work, but without success.
I’ve plugged the loom into pin 3 (cc talk) on the Lumina. Pins 1 and 2 on the Lumina are empty (is this right?). When I switch on the red X flashes on the Lumina, and the machine doesn’t recognise there is a note acceptor. It still says “BNV????” as part of the initialisation routine and the hopper limit is still set as £125 not £250.
Obviously there’s something I’m not doing right. Can anyone shed any light please? Sharpy, I see in a previous post that you can give step by step instructions how to make this work?
Thanks.
