Hi all,
Now, I clearly realise that DONDs can't be emulated anytime soon. But, would there be any way to extract the samples from the sound ROMS, if indeed, they are available?
I don't want to look like a berk, along with loads of other "can eye hav de D33L R0MZ?" characters, this is for a different reason...
Cheers gents, keep up the good work on this great site.

Nope. I tried this a few months ago and the sounds don't get produced right in MFME10.1
They just come out as white noise, and half the samples are missing when you load the sound ROMs.
Sounds are crap for the most part anyway. Just Noel Edmonds talking crap and the silly music from the TV show.

Ah, never mind. I just wanted a few of the Noel sayings for a laugh and that 'piano-ish' bit of music that plays whilst the player is considering their offer (on the real show), which plays as the 'collect bank' music on the 4-reel version of DOND.
Cheers though!

Fair enough mate. I think I tried Can You Beat the Banker sound ROMs and they wouldn't run. I probably did something wrong.

most of the sound roms work
load up MFME10.1
go to design >load sound rom > scorpion 4
then when you load them click samples
play the samples
if you wish to save them then click save
BUT you must change the file extension from
.wav to .raw
then convert the raw to mp3/wav/wma and there you go
load up MFME10.1
go to design >load sound rom > scorpion 4
then when you load them click samples
play the samples
