I use Firefox because I have noticed a difference in the speed. But there's one problem with it - which may be Firefox or just my crap computer, but every time I goto a secure site i.e. online banking, it just disappears and you have to load it back up - this can continue for another 3 or 4 tries.

Have use Firefox near enough since day dot with NatWest, and yet to experence any problems like you describe.

Like others I've use Firefox since its beginnings pretty much. Its far superior to IE in just its customization alone...you make it what you want (assuming someone has created the right add-on(!)). Faster too. Plus reading replies Microsoft have preprogrammed people to prefer the IE layout cos that's what the vast majority of people are use to seeing as it come bundled with Windows. Change doesn't come easy and it took me a while to warm to Firefox, its 100 times better in my opinion.
However the more popular it becomes the less secure it will be as hackers will adapt their attacks more to firefox as more people use it....the open source nature of it could be its undoing. So sush don't tell anyone about it and stick to old faithfull IE
