Not worth getting excited about it. After a few losses peeps will wish they had never been released. There are a few on test in Doncaster btw.

That would be interesting to find out. Astra are advertising them as 25p/£70

I can only imagine that we will see a mixture, and they will keep an eye on what the punters seem to prefer.
It's entirely feasible that multi-stake multi-winline machines (like 1 / 3 /5 winline hi-tech AWPs) will see 25p / 50p / £1 with some enticement attached to the £1 (higher percentage, all cash and features upgraded, e.t.c.).
I'm surprised to see Astra offering a £70 lo-tech on 25p as I'd expect that to offer a terrible game, unless they've changed the win structure and frequency to some how make it more attractive?

Ding!
The base game top prize is 15 quid, allowing for a better hit and more activity. The 70 pound jackpot can be won on the top game
Last time I heard, the beginning of June is the date for 70 pound jackpots.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

Regardless of how the £70 jackpot is actually awarded, 25p stake is still surely going to offer a terrible game?

well not all true LOL its my m8 max playin it not me but the 1st time he played it (last weekend he got £180 from it as its a 3 player machine he got a JP in nudges + MS and a £40 win from a POT like win it has) he put around 60 in but i will agree the higher the JP the higher the risk
I will admit that in the vid (taken 3 days ago) that was his 1st quid in so its all luck really

Just an update, it finally got approved in the house of lords, but now there a stupid 3 month wait, because of this EU crap. So that means it will be July before they come in.... sigh...

Looking forward to the new £70 jackpots. Although it will be while before I streak any of them. Just hope they go no higher that 30p/50p0

Will there be 25/35 conversions to the 70 machines or is going to be new releases only. From the pics I saw from ATEI no conversions allowed!
