Morning :-)

Every time I boot up my Warped machine, the alarm goes off and it comes up with (I think) "mem reset 4.3". I'm guessing this is to do with the battery on the motherboard being dead? Its one of those Eclipse One stop technology machines.

Is it even possible to replace the battery, considering its a sealed unit?
If it is, where do I get one from?

Cheers!

Yeah defo sounds like your battery is on its way out, thus the machine will probably start forgetting most of its statistics.

Thats brilliant, cheers Hurricane! It seems like its not as easy a job as I wanted it to be, so I might not bother... I'm not the best with a soldering iron, in fact I don't even have one.

At least I know how to do it now though!

Thanks again!

Would it not help to leave the machine switched on for a few hours to charge the battery up?

simples way to test a battery is to put a £1 coin in (do not play the credits of) and switch the machine off for a couple of mins and then switch the machine back on, and if the credit goes to 0 play then its deffo the battery thats fooked.

a machine doesn't need to be left on for a few hours to find out if its the battery or not as it charges at the moment the board recieves power even tho its trickle charge
