I have burned it onto a CD and listened to it on the decent stack system in the other room and the vocals sound, well, utter $&%# TBH, i know i can do MUCH better than that, it lacks power big time.
I feel a re release coming on after i go get a decent mic, so watch this space.......

would be an idea
i'll also offer my help, been a while since ive done a bit of editing but this seems like simple enough stuff
the way i see it
would be best to use yourself as the backing vocals
(place a tweaked, edited slice of the track & place it on another channel)
that way it will sound a lot less confusing

It's great that your giving this effort such attention. As you say, recorded on better equipment with the ability to tweak/layer/multivocal over a blank backing track, the recording could have made Freddie Mercury happy..... to sue you:policeman:....and me.
Still I'm glad you find my "work" entertaining.
This was my third fruitty related song, posted on here, and have have a few ideas up my sleve for more. Please let me know if you don't want to see them and I'll go and do something useful with my life.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

Well, i do like a challenge, i find it fun, plus it stops me wanting to go and lose all my money in the local shitpiece machines around here
As much as i do not wish to brag or anything, that recording of my vocals sounds hideous and powerless compared to what i can do, but considering i was using a speaker from the door of a rover 200 as a mic i couldn't really expect anything good quality.
I suppose recording in a small 1 bedder flat in the middle of a big estate with nothing but a small set of PC speakers for sound wasn't exactly a recipe for success either, as it is hard to give it full vocal welly somewhere like this, as opposed to a sound deadened and acoustically set up studio with proper gear, where you can really let rip with a loud voice without worrying about the neighbours.
So i mark myself 3/10 for that, and can and will do better!
