Hi,
can someone solve this please?
The coin acceptor takes coins and they even register credits, but then they fall into the cash bin and not the HOPPER.
when I go into the test mode it tell me the hopper is EMPTY, and if I fill the hopper manually it pays out on a win.
When I look at the back of the SR5 it only has one plug going into it and this goes to the serial interface, I read on here about a routing plug but there is no lead from the fruit machine/hopper going into this just...............should there be?
I want to be able to get the sr5 to send the coins to the hopper and not the cash bin.

if there is only 1 lead that can plug into the coin mech then yes it will go into the serial interface.

also your mpu will say eclipse on it.(just to double check it is serial)
if the hopper is definatly empty and the plug is correctly inserted then the coins should go into the hopper.

if they dont then your serial sr5 coin mech is faulty(and that wouldn't suprise me)
