Think you may need a second hopper also if you want to take a Bell Fruit clubber to £500.

I'm pretty sure that the reason they charge so much, is because potentially on the higher jackpot the machine *could* make the owner substantially more cash than the lower jackpots.

Obviously that doesn't bother you as a home user, but machines are never intended to wind up in our homes anyway :)

I'm pretty sure someone around here would be able to flash your existing ROMs for you, if the £500 ROMs are available, however I'd advise you to consider if you really want to run it on £500 anyway.

I know B3 / S16 machines typically exist on £500, but being higher stakes, they will offer a 'faster' game. £500 on 30/50p is going to be, in my opinion, pretty boring, will take AGES to pay out a JP from a reset, and will result in ridiculous blocks on the board (IMHO).

Think you may need a second hopper also if you want to take a Bell Fruit clubber to £500.

That rings a bell as well, but I'm not 100% sure.

Just because your existing hopper can handle £500+, doesn't mean that the game software will work without the second hopper fitted. I'd definitely look into this.

Well if it plays like the £500 version of club two towers it would be 40-£50 blocks for hundreds and hundreds of pounds.:)

Ben, just discovered machine will work fine on 500 and even better i can play at 20p or 25p which will make for a better long term game rather than the boring 50p way. Plus my hopper with extension is good to go with upgrade software so well happy. Thanks again man, you sure know your stuff, us newbies can learn a lot from you my friend.

It just means when your trying to force the machine for a jackpot it will let you get to like £40/£50 and just boot you of the feature e.g 11-12 2-1.

No, you are sadly mistaken. 20p/25p on £500 will be tedious beyond belief.

No way of making it sound nice, it's going to be bloody horrible.

Still, perhaps the best way is to find out yourself? You've plenty of time to get different machines, and plenty of time to find out what stakes / prizes satisfy you.

:)
