Hi there.

I purchased one of the above machines today, and although it works fine, I can't figure out how to get money from the damn thing (I mean dumping the hopper, not by playing it! :). The manual does explain how to dump the hopper, but when I try to follow the steps, I get nowhere.

Could someone give me a step by step guide on how to do this? The bloke who delivered the machine said that I had to get the alpha saying 'Refill Coins', but I can only get to the 'Refill ...' followed by some number. The bloke said that this was another menu and not the one for dumping the hopper.

I'm totally stuck on what to do.

Cheers.
Jas.

Open bottom/cash door. Press cancel when is says "read meters". Turn refill key. Press dump hopper switch for two seconds (normally a green switch on the cabinet base, next to the coin boxes). Display will then tell you to either press start or cancel (can't remember which) to dump hopper. Hopper will dump and display will tell you by how many £s it is short.

Hi there.

I just tried what you suggested, but it didn;t work I'm afraid. I'm not sure if the refill key is working, since when I turned the key to the right, nothing happened at all. The alpha just kept showing stuff like it does when it's waiting for someone to play the game. It never said anything about wanting the dump coins out.

Here's what I did:
  • I opened the cash door (bottom door).
  • On 'Read Meters' I pressed Cancel.
  • I put in the key and turned it to the right.
That's as far as I got. I did try pressing the green 'Dump Hopper' button, but the alpha just stayed the same.

Cheers anyway, I appreciate you replying to me.

MB72 has given you spot on instructions for dumping the hopper, so what you need to do is this -:

Turn the machine off.
Turn it on.
Once its fully turned on, put your refill key in and turn it to the right. Does anything change on the alpha? If not, there is a problem. If it does say something different, your refill key works, and you need to try MB72's instructions again.

Cheers!

double check that a connection on the refill hasn't popped off the actual refill lock.

also remember to hold the dump hopper button in for a few seconds and not just a quick press.
