Two Really Good Memories here. I had 5p in my pocket and our machines used to be set in work for 5p for £5jp spun the reels spun me in the jp and then let me hit the repeat hehe. The other one was more recent i had never played a deal or no deal machine so i was down at the snooker club which i am going to tday hehe and i must have threw about a tenner in then i finally got a strong board so i just plodded around it nudging reels in trying to go for 7's or sumthing lol and then the machine started flashing and me and my mate wer like what the f*** i had justed nudged everything in to start the mega feature or sumthing for 35 lol

Dond - The big deal ? ;)

Another would be at an holiday camp in wales put a pound in a 10p £5 jp impulse machine it was a clone of pick yer pesos with mummys on it. Got on board got 3 green bars for £3.20 gambled to the jp no repeat then every 3 spins bonus on board and just kept going red. It finally stopped at £75 but not bad for a £1 start off and a £5 jp machine.

"Best experience" as in biggest win was on a crap hole machine called Fortune Numbers, not Barcrest's finest hour.

Anyway, arcade in Torquay, get in numbers which take me to the top of the feature board and get £2 in tokens out. Hooray. Then, it feature holds on the £2 square a further 19 times - which empties the machine of tokens, which I then put in Fruit Chaser, for about £30 in cash.

"Most exciting" experience - chancing a red 2 to 1 gamble at £50 on a clubber called Lucky Strike for the jackpot. The adrenalin rush as I decided to do it and hit the gamble nearly knocked me over. It lost.....

2 more recent stories..... just tried out my friends refill key today. kinda suggested the hopper was full. so me and a mate decided to go for jp. got a nice megastreak for £74 after a few quid :D (was a quid vicious machine, which i personally hate but meh).
then a day before that i went into shipleys. they gave out some card for "quicky bingo" or something. me and my friend both won £2 in tokens each, which we then won £2 with, and the £25jp on another machine, then + a few other little wins. winning over £30 for a quick 10-20 mins messing around was pretty good imo :)

My best was on an online slot. Bear with me till I get to the slot part.

I had a £5 football fixed odds up for £1650 on Stan james earlier this year.
Hull and Arsenal were playing in the evening and Hull were 16-1, a very good price as they had a few good results earlier in the season.
So I had a cheeky £10 on Hull to win, which they did giving me another £170.
My balance at this point was about £1850 because of money I had in the account anyway.

So I decided to go on the pirate bonus slot because I had some reasonable wins in the past.
I started off on £1 a spin and after half an hour was up about £50, so moved it up to £2 a spin, then £3 and so on as it was playing pretty steady. Anyway I eventually end up playing £5 a spin and hit the bonus cash wheel.
First spin on the wheel £1000, second spin £250.:D

Ended up cashing out £3500 and still had £200 in my account which has been paying for my coupons all season.

my best experiance was probly on donkey kong i had bout 5 pounds left bout 3 years ago . i thought yeh lets wack a nugget in got a win went higher than a 2 gave it to me and for some reason the donkey kong sign went blue then i rang a friend and told me to go all the way to jp . and make sure u dont hold any numbers cause it was on a blue streak i was like wtf is that at this point. so it just kept giving me wins after wins for blue boards eventually it stopped when i had about 45 quid i was like do well
( should of played dond after :p)

That wasn't a streak, that was the emptier. It would have stopped because you got a normal feature from the numbers.

My best win was about a year ago on a Power5. Put about £15 in to get the power 5 phones set-up. dealt as £31 with MS & £20 left (£20 in me box as MS on a P5 is extremely rare). Play for a board which flashes for IM, goes for £35 then next board another flasher for IM for £70 MS this time. No notey on it so it IUO's for £2 which I didn't bother claiming.

I'll be amazed if it isn't chipped by now. This worked on the old £8/£10 JP's in pubs back in the day. Long time ago now.

Xmas Eve 1997 - Wetherspoons in Lewisham

Put £10 into Bucks Bunny - after less than a minute and just £2 in got an IM and it went for the full £140 red streak! There was a bloke on the Billy the Quid that was next to it who looked like he had been on it for hours - he looked gutted!

I must have been very lucky indeed on timing - I now have a Bucks Bunny machine of my own at home, and have learnt just how long it can hold out before paying out, and how infrequent the £140 is!

MIne probably dates from summer 1991.

Not long started a new job, but when the summer holiday came, I didn't get any holiday pay, because I hadn't been working there long.

Anyway went to the arcade on the first day of the holiday, and started by losing about £40 in an hour. Kept playing and won it all back and about another £40 that day. Went back in every day and kept winning. By the end of the week I was up nearly £300. Not a lot these days, but back then that was over 2 weeks wages. Went on a holiday with the money I won. Great times.
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.

Did she wail "Woah!!!! STOOOOP!!!"?

A handful of favourite moments in no particular chronological order.

1) Getting a £30 streak off 'Instant Win' £10 cash jackpot in my local. I had no idea the machine could streak as it did and when I kept getting win every other credit, thought I had broken it.

2) Leaving a Grand Golden Game, having lost about £7/£8 and it didn't seem very lively. It was add 10p to play and my girlfriend at the time suggested putting in 10p. Nope I said, total waste of money, not paying out. Leave that 10p hold there to tempt someone else in. She looked annoyed and put the 10p in, span the reels and WHEEP! WHOOP! WHEEP! WHOOOP! >>> X <<<< flash for Golden X. With appropriate coinage inserted for credit breaks, £182 streak.

3) Driving up the M1 in considerable discomfort due to the vast quantities of pound coins in my trousers. Thankyou winstopper.

4) Getting the fabled £140 off the Billy The Quid £35er in a local bowling alley. Cost about £20.

5) Got the runs now, mild food poisoning, post abort, a few more, post abort. Sorry.

LOL so someone did win from an 'insert an extra...' fair play :)

2 other best experiences I've had were (1's mentioned on other posts)

1) Emptying a change machine, they'd connected the hoppers wrong so £10 in gave 10x £1, £1 in gave 2 x 50p 50p in gave 5 x £1!!!!! Played all day for free, walked away majorly up and told the manager as I left (who I knew ;) ) that some kids were ripping off the change machine and he should get it looked at lol

2) When all the 3 / 4 seater Stampede, Golden game, PTA etc came out, me and the missus were on holiday in June 04 North devon, quite little town where there was 1 arcade and hardly any shops. We went in this arcade EVERY day and played the big machines for an hour or so, walked away at least £50 up each EVERY day, we started banking the money and setting aside say £30 each in coins each day for the next day. Free holiday and profit, can't complain.
Not every pet in Pet Society is sweet and innocent....
