I have just been talking to duplu via msn and he has just confirmed
that Sharpy2005 has not donated the £75 after 2 months of the thread been finished
we took his word that he was going to pay it asap which duplu has confirmed me that he hasn't seen this money

You asked me if 'the guy' had donated the £75 to the site and I replied that I didn't think he had. I couldn't actually remember who it was to check the records.

Also remember it is a donation and is his money so he can take as long as he likes.

Ok! You all win!

Its blatantly obvious that no-one here is ever going to win the prize, so I've decided I am going to donate the cash, the whole amount, to the site.

However, I want to give ONGOING support, rather than a one off payment, so I am donating £15 a month, starting from now, and ongoing - for a minimum of 5 months, thus paying the total of £75, and possibly just ongoing forever.

Hope you all had a bit of fun trying to win the money, shame nobody did, but at least it is going to a good cause now :-)

Glad you all enjoyed it, was an interesting experiment if nothing else, and yes it did get quieter members posting which can only be a good thing :-)

And I will indeed be honoring the money, just awaiting a PM from Duplu so I can sort it out.

i do believe that if members chat privately on msn we do not expect threads to be made on a public forum.

And i agree with Lincs..MSN convos are private..if i told someone on here in MSN i only had a year to live or summat (ok..no comparison)..but id hardly expect to see a thread about it on here 10 mins later.

Kinda paints Duplu in a bad light as if hes going about bitching about him behind his back..nothing really to do with any of us.

However if he wants to make himself look silly in front of all the members as 'Quote boy' did then that his choice.
