hi, i have just bought my first machine and im trying to work out how to turn the volume down on it, its a barcrest ooh ahh dracula £15jp i have tried the settings useing the refill key but cant seem to find a way to turn the volume down as its giving me a headache:wacko:
any help would be apriciated, ta.

when you open the top door and it resets it should say door open if so press the test button and it should give you options press start and find the volume option and it should work if not try opening both doors and use your refill key that might work

Assuming it's the MPU5 Ooh Aah Dracula, it *should* be accessed through the refloat key.
You have to hold in the middle hold button, then turn the key, and it should say something like 'VOLUME 1 > 20 = 10' on the display, you need to use the hold buttons to change the value, and then turn the key back and remove it to set the volume.
If it's the MPU4 rebuild of the machine, which I believe was made by BWB, then I'm not 100% sure as I've not worked on MPU4 BWB stuff, it may well be in the Test mode routine as shown above.

cheers for the help, sorted it by holding the middle hold and turning the key, one more question, does anyone know if theres a setting where i can make the lights flash when the machine is just sat there, as the lights are on all the time.

you will need to find the attract mode dip switch on the main mpu board
all the dip switches numbered 1 to 8 should be in the off position

ta now i know what switches you mean, bt ive only gone and flicked the wrong switches and now it wont do anything at all 
i have messed about with the switches on the outside top right corner of the mpu board and the machine has gone dead, theres just a few green lights on inside the machine.
anyone?

Did you switch the machine off before you started flicking switches?Edit turn the machine off then put the switches back to there origonal positions then turn it back on and see if theres any life.ta now i know what switches you mean, bt ive only gone and flicked the wrong switches and now it wont do anything at all

flick the switches back to how it was.
the switches u need to play with is under the % key on the programme card

still no luck 
ill keep trying but the machine just isnt doing anything at all, do the switches have to be turned on/off in a certain order?

does your machine have a % key plugged in?

right flick dip switch number 8 to the on position
then restart the machine

right flick dip switch number 3 then restart the machine

if that doesn't work then it seems to have a problem if you haven't touched anything else
