and before you say it no i'm not after tips cheats etc just want to know if this is possible

in our local we have a cluedo usual suspects machine and the landlord was telling me tonight that it's been scammed twice in the last two weeks by people putting mobile phones on top of the machine and using some sort of bluetooth signal to empty the machine, i told him it was all bollocks but he's adamant that this is whats happening and says that the guy from sceptre leisure who supply the machines says this can happen..

Anybody know if something like this is possible?

Just wanna tell him it's all a load of crap and that people were just lucky

I am no expert in the workings of the fruite, but I would say that your correct arcades used to make you turn off your mobiles off as that thought thay affected the fruites, but most modern MPUS will be shielded from any from of RF interferaince and all bluetooth is is a low power radio signal, so i would not think that this would be strong enough to affect the machine, but if hes that worried he should ask them not to put the phones on top of the machine, but i would have thought if it was bluetooth just having the phone in there pockets would do the trick anyway thus not drawing any attention to the phone.

as for the golden 7's machine with the flutterbox we have that in the local arcade on £5 JP not a bad machine either

all bellfruits should now be protected.
all games warehouse machines have had security brackets released so these should also be sorted as well.

new hoppers are also being fitted to most machines to stop the theiving scum.
