Right, im off down devon in a fortnight & wanted some infomation to make the car journey and stay not as boring
The park we're staying on isn't aimed at my age group & during the day i'll probably be bored shitless or stuck spending money in the arcades
so i want to know
Is it possible to use my laptop monitor as a monitor for my ps2
i have a VGA port on the side of my laptop
a VGA to SVideo lead
what else would i need to be able to do this?
had a quick look around cnet forums but its mainly refering to american stuff & im too tired to understand it all lol
any infomation is appreciated, btw dont have much money to spend =/

Download yourself a mega drive or master system emulator and any game you can find!
Theres hours of fun to be had on them and they hardly take any memory pretty much like the fruity emus!
If your a bit too young to know what games were worth playing tho im pretty sure some of the people on here could point you towards a few clasics!

It's INCREDIBLY unlikely your laptop will accept *incoming* signals, as it is designed purely to output to either it's own screen, or an external screen (which is why it'll have a VGA port - to output to a larger screen).
It isn't going to happen - sorry!

In saying that..5 or 6 years ago my 2 kids woulda loved to go somewhere like that..woulda found it most interesting and an entertaining day out.
But now with my lassie 10 and my boy coming up on 14 a day out like would be gay..i dunno why everything needs to be gay.
Come on Ryan we need to go to the supermarket and get some shopping in..'Och no way man..thats pure gay'
Any youngsters care to explain why doing anything/everything is gay ?
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know.
