Hi hope someone can help.I have a Barcrest Big Game Fruit Machine,
No lights are working. And the +34v fuse blows straight away when i turn it on.everything else works fine.i have no idea where to start looking apart from a possible blown light shorting the system out.but dont want to start looking at every light individually.any help would be appreciated and if i am in the wrong forum im sorry,
cheers

If thats on MPU4 ? It sounds like the bridge rectifier in the PSU.

Eh ? well that dont make any sence to me it cant really be MPU4 and MPU5 in the same game?

Yeah if you know what ya doing its about 30min job and dont know how much one would be but a rough guess less than a fiver.

Or easier option once you know if it is the PSU is just get a whole PSU cheap from somewhere.

Sorry for being unclear fruitman69
The Big board stuck on the back inside is MPU5 Looks like a big Chip board .And you can unclip the centre part.
And Looking at the reels from above, just under the reels it says MPU4.doesnt look easy to get to.

What is a PSU?
Can you tell me in your opinion what i need to get, the best place to get it.
Thank any more info will get it you no problem.
Thanks
steve

Hi,
PSU = Power Supply Unit, but now its MPU5 it could be many things, including what lincs said. Without being at the machine you can never be 100% sure what the issue is without testing with meters etc.

Your best bet now would be go to the mecca as theres far more people with tech advise on there.
