I have played this loads in the real world and I am now wondering if there are 2 versions. I'm sure there is one with a red backdrop to the feature board and it's laid out differently? Anyone got any ideas on this...

You are correct there are 2 versions of this machine, and just to prove it here is the pic of the red Version. The layout is still much the same though and the ROMS are identical

Hope this helps

The RED Version can be downloaded here http://www.fruit-emu...p=getit&lid=597

The red version was designed for all cash/token switching, therefore the trail values go up to £2.80 before JP, i.e. no token wins on Pink Panther trail.

The blue version (original) had token wins on the trail, one step from eiffel is £5.00.

I suspect that the poor quality red layout thats already on the emulator had the trail values doctored.

Just about all you will find around (assuming you can find any PP's at all) will be red now because older Maygays tend to be on 5p play.

The red version was a rebuild co-produced by BWB and Maygay, this version has a logo with a handshake between the two logo's. The blue version was solely produced by maygay. The boards are identical but I would assume the roms are different between the two.
