Are you thinking of the same one I'm thinking of - called Hot Property - where you get the end game after a certain number of points, and have to pick 3 cards before it makes you an offer?

If so, I'm not aware of a copy in the public domain, but someone must have it somewhere :)

Well do you know what a ROM is, or an EMULATOR for that matter?

If not dial 0800 - FAIRPLAY and ask for Stewie, he had a nice video of him holding what he thought was a rom..... lmao.

>.> ofc i do

a rom is an image & contains all the data & the emulator emulates it so it thinks its in its actual envioronment

so what are these?

simulations?

as a simulator simulates it and isnt 100% accurate

Hi matty

Sorry you are slightly wrong the rom is the program that gives the fruit machine its game in much the same way as the DS cart give the DS the game, the emulator is the program that runs the rom and emulates the hardware to fool the ROM into thinking its running in the real machine.

A simulation it a standalone program that plays in a simular way to the real machine but is not the real machine.

The games that the indi emulator runs are not roms but DVD / CD images because inside the real quiz machine is an slightly adapted PC to run the games, now I not 100% sure if there is a CD/DVD multi chainger in there or if all of the games are loaded on to a HDD inside the machine from a CD/DVD or downloaded onto the machine via a broadband type connection.

So what we have here is a small program that fools the indvidual games into thinking that thay are running on the real machine so we can play them on our PC's. and this is the reason that thease programs are a lot bigger than the ROMS from a fruit machine.
