Heres a question for some of you betting office gamblers :

I've noticed that several of the Red Gaming machines, and I think several more recent Barcrest machines have a piece of glass where the letters LBO are and a pitcure of what I think is a horse. That must mean that some kind of settings change makes a machine into a Licensed Betting Office machine -

Do they play any differently? I've not seen many machines with it on so is it a recent introduction?

Yeah, your right. There is another setting for lbo's.Totally different profile from pub setting but they still streak as per usuall.

Noticed this on Superstar recently.

You know there's a big Ladbrokes with huge windows down the high street where I live. At the end of the night they open up the fruitie's before they go home, you know when I was walking past one night on my way from one pub to another I swear I saw one of the little goblins inside that makes them work....

I could be mistaken...

you say fruit machines in kebab shops as if it's some sort of rarety? every kebab shop i've been in whilst walking home on the piss in ipswich (i like my kebab) has had a fruity. Revolution, London Underground, Monty Python, Cash Gordan have all been spotted. I only played Revolution, the rest are $&%#.

Monty Python? How dare you insult that machine :)

Anyway, seen 2 £25 bandits in a new taxi rank building office type thing, I wonder if they paid their £750ish for a license? I dare say that its illegal anyway, as I thought that above £5/10p could only be used in places where under 18s didn't have access?

Hurrah! Seen a good one, not quite a fruitie but I just saw a pinball machine in a church, woohoo!

Now that's what I call trying to make the Lord groovy!

Ok so the story is the machine belongs to the guy who lives next to the church (Which is only a small one) but the garage he had it in was totalled by the bad weather over the weekend and he's been allowed to put it in the church entrance until he can build another garage.

I saw them carrying it in this morning, all 4 of them...and even then it looked a struggle! Those things must be heavy!!!!
I'm back! yay!
