Can someone confirm that a 5p/£75 jackpot machine falls into Category B4 and not Category C?
Cheers in advance.

Cat C can't go above £70 JP

cat b3a. should it have been 2p £75 b3a, it would have been tax free.
just think how arcades would have differed if it was £75 cat c. would have seen loads of old favorites popping up all over the place.

I should've added that i'm talking in terms of a Club fruit machine as opposed to your bog standard arcade machine, if that makes any difference.

doesn't matter, a machine is a machine, they've all got the same rules. Certain machines can only be legal in a place lke a club as you have to be a member there rather than just being able to walk in a pub, but Category licence wise, Cat C is upto a max of £70 JP. So your £75 JP will be a B3a

What's cat b4 then as that was the said club machine out the local social. Just a higher stake/jackpot?
If I recall correctly, Cat B4 is specifically for machines of £75>£500 jackpot at stakes up to £1 per play, for use in Private Members Clubs.
