How to "power up the machine?"

Right now to sound like a complete fanny..

finally found my favourite all time fruity to play. Vamp it up but when playing it on mfme31 how do i power up the game to play i can see the layout perfectly and the buttons work but its like no power to the screen.

Use emulator V9.4 or V10.1

thanks for the reply, this newer version worked but alas now I can only see the top half of the game. I am playing on a laptop and i have read that it makes a difference?

as a rule i would say only classic versions are laptop friendly, they all run fine, but will have cropping of the screen at the bottom. check the resolution of your laptop before downloading DX games, as more often than not they will be larger.

ive got a 22" widescreen at 1680x1280 and still cant play the big ones!

right trying to find shark raving mad, vamp it up and all fired up in 1040 res please!!!

Do you mean you are running at a higher resolution than your screen and dragging the layout into view - as most 22" widescreens are only 1680x1050 resolution :eek:
