Hi guys, im getting my first machine tomorro night and im looking forward to it, there is a couple of things i need advice on if possible.
There are no keys to the upper section - what does this mean exactly and can i get a replacement set easily enough?
If there is money in the machine is doesnt pay out anyway - is this easy enough to fix ?
with regards to both these questions i will be keeping the maching for probably 6 months for home use then looking to sell and get a new one, it will be in the house and used as a bank mainly ( or on free play mode if its not easy tro get the money back out??? ) so should i even bother fixing these faults or just leave it on free play mode and DONT put money in it?
any advice is welcome,
Cheers Garry

It's a front opening cabinet, so without the top door key you are going to be stuck really.
Replacement set? Possible if it uses the factory keys, although it's likely that the lock will be changed to a set the supplier used before it was sold on.
As the hopper (payout mechanism) is in the top part of the machine, I don't think there is any way for you to investigate the fault without getting access to it.
On free play mode it'll be as boring as hell. Without the financial risk you may as well be playing a machine on the emulator

Hope you don't mind me asking, but how much did the Beaver Las Vegas machine cost?

Ouch... if you'd said something like £20 I might have recommended it, but £99? Considering you'd have to break into it, I'd say you were better off without it.
Sure something will turn up soon!

This is a nice machine - ive played it a lot. delivery is £65 so if you bid at last £35 minuite you might get it.
Hillbillionaire £25 Jackpot Bell Fruit Machine on eBay (end time 05-Jul-09 12:45:00 BST)
Another good idea is try to get a red or extreme machine as these are not emulated
Some reds here:
red gaming, Fruit Machines, fruit machine items at low prices on eBay.co.uk

It's got a mental streak on the £5 version - put 40p in one once, Random Stoppa, skill stopped it on Mega Streak for £25.
Used to play the £25 version in a pub, but on the 10p stake, used to play pretty well on that.

Gotta watch out for that on the £25 version as well. It normally offers mega streak to you straight away and if you dont stop the random stoppa quick enough, your stuffed. It wont offer you it again. Never played the £5 version but love the £25 multi stake.
It's a bellfruit so im suprised it's not emulated - must use the updated hopper similer to dond. Cant be scorp 5, it's too old.

We have ended up talking about Hill Billionaire Baz

Yup... had it on both the Bullseye which is the same as Hill Billionaire, and also Hot Rod with the bagatelle / ball shooting middle feature. Annoyed the locals who were sharking me and telling me to play it on 30p... drop in £1, knock it down to 10p, 4 spins later get Random Stoppa, on Mega Streak, £60.
They didn't talk to me again after that

Sorry for the confusion. garrynicol69 is not getting beaver las vegas anymore and was looking for sugestions. Hillbillionaire is an great machine, fun to play and addictive and it's on ebay currently so I suggested it.
Not a big fan of a lot of epoch machines (with the exception of most extreme machines and occasional others) and beaver las vegas is one i don't like.
Guess I kinda derailed topic. Sorry about that

Such a shame. One for the future, if we are lucky.
