Hi everyone - this is my first post so please go easy...

I have picked up a couple of JPM machines - Sonic the Hedgehog and Indiana Jones.

When you switch the machines on the alarm sounds. I know this clears after 20 seconds but as they are in the house, is there any way to disable the alarm? I do not want to disconect the speakers as this ruins the gameplay. Are there other solutions? Will the alarm sound every single time I switch on?

Help appreciated

if its going off after everytime you switch on the machine then theres a problem

check on the Impact motherboard that the battery ( either looks like a watch battery or in a light greenish wrapper ) hasnt leaked and damaged the board.... this can result in the machine losing its RAM and triggering the alarm

have you actually played the machines yet with the doors closed?

if not you need to do this on both machines and put money through and play all credits and not leave any money in the bank.

the on/off alarm only sounds when the machine is switched off/on quickly with money in credit or bank(or if you have a faulty power supply or mpu)

It looks like the battery has leaked down the board and the battery has sort of welded itself in between metal connecting pins that hold it in place. Does this board contain the game or can it be swapped out easily?
