Hi, I have two fruit machines, a jpm and a bell fruit rich geezer, ive had these for a couple of years now. These often stop playing and I can usually repair them but on the bell fruit machine it keeps coming up with reel 4 error, I've swoped the reels overs and reel 4 was giving the same fault on other reel slots, cleaned and swoped the opto's and noticed one of the connection pins was pushed in, this easily seemed to come back out, swoped them all over again and still stays reel 4 error. It seems just stuck off this error, although I think the error is fixed. It did this with a hopper error years ago and someone told me to short the battery on the main board for a few second and that did clear the error, ive not tried this yet but dose someone have any other idea's
Thanks
Mark

so even if you swap the reel over to different slots you still get reel 4 error?
if so the the connections under the bracket the reel fits into may have a broken wire or needs pushed in a bit as the contact doesn't sound good.
or it could be scorp 4 fault.

Thanks, but what I need to find out is how to clear the memory, the cmos battery is a chunky one that’s soldiered on, ive also checked the connection that the reel 4 slots in, to see if a wire wasn’t connecting but all seems ok

thanks guys, one of the pins on the brackets on reel 4 was obstructed which must have caused the pin on reel 4 to push in, even when i cleared it, reel 4 error again, so pushed slightly pushed in the female part of the bracket pin and hay presto the arcade is back open
thank you
