I bought a Bar X the other day, i picked it up on monday and have been playing around with it since as my internet was out for a few days. The speaker was unplugged so i decided to plug it back in and i got a very loud static noise (ie a tv on an untuned channel). Any ideas on this? ive tried turning the volume up and down but its the same.

Also id like to change the stake and percentage, how would I do this? i cant find any dip switches anywhere, unless im not looking hard enough. Its currently on 5p/£5 and id like it to be either 10/20p and changing the jp if possible. The percentage must be really low as it takes about £5 to win anything, and ive not had a single jackpot so far..

I will save it for tomorrow and have a look to see if i can find the dip switches.. there is a cover on the mpu(?) that i cant take off, and i dont want to force it.. also about the sound is it just a simple fix of changing the amp?

also tommy; the door switch isnt plugged in, i didnt think about that.. silly me.

had a look today, tried getting the cover off the board but it wont budge. the left side comes off but the right doesnt. anyway ive looked up and down the board but i cant find a thing. There is another one on the side of the machine but there are no dips there. i will try the test mode later.
