Best internet secuity ever in my view...........

Cough's may appear to work...but be warned, they are 'on the ball' why do you think they are blacklisted fast.

....£34 a year............bargain.

Yes Lee - if they are .reg files then just (double) click to apply them.

not in terms of detection rate there isn't and that's the prime thing needed in anti-virus. Kaspersky eats the competition alive, them russians just don't f*** about! :D

Free anti virus will NEVER be as good as the stuff you pay for. And even more so with internet security packages.

Ooh, that's a ban for Mr Mac :D

If you don't want to pay for AV, may I suggest some of the 'free' AV available online?

An example is AVAST - seems to get good reviews. Just for god's sake don't stick on free AV software without double checking with someone first - there is so much malware disguised as free AV you can cause a huge amount of hassle for yourself if not careful!

I disagree. I've known MANY free software packages which are way better than 'paid for' software. AV is no exception, and the same applies to anti-mal/spyware software too.

No doubt free AV is better than some 'paid for' software, but not all. Kaspersky is right up there, and for gaming, one of the best imho. Norton is fairly good protection wise, but its bulky and slows stuff down a lot. Granted you can get the gaming edition for more money from Norton, but Kaspersky is just light anyway.
