Thats so true Geddy and yeah it does, but there's some that are still not happy--for that reason they have been updated, and One of them still isn't happy lol

Re the other part of your post (as it will be said that was ignored), I think you'll agree that it may have been a little strong...I say may as there is some history.

The rules don't state 'lose it and you're banned', we are all human and of course (you too) have well overstepped the mark with some of the stuff at times, but again (said it in public before so I will again) I can WELL understand the anger you was in at the time!

It was read by a few, and thumbs up to Todd though he could have easily deleted it......don't know about you but I have NEVER seen Todd lose it before....he's normally all smiles and level.

Remember the PT05 era?....my sis died and he said "good", I lost it big big time (as anyone would) but that's never mentioned anywhere...at times we all need to air our views.

I don't want to get into any debate, but given the replies positive or negative it just shows how slow FME really is atm due to us all nit picking again.

Is this not breaking one of your own rules? (Problem is so I have seen over the years whenever rules are put down they are pushed to see what happens. Or like in this case to gain a reaction. been a mod meself which is one of the reason's i left the mod scene because it was 1 rule for 1 and another rule for another.

am not slating the scene ady or toodles but as u both know i speak the truth.

I was not having a pop at todd for his 'outburst' I was just pointing out that some folks will rile you up till you break the rules then come back and try to get a 'one-up' on you about it.

Two main issues with 'rules' as such (FME wise) are that 1) there tends be be folk who are immune to them no matter how much it is pointed out to them and 2) they are hardly ever enforced never mind enforced fairly.

Since FME is dying all DADs is now is a platform for the brainless,the permanently unhappy and the sadly obsessed to bitch, I am surprised you have a link in your sig. Promoting somewhere that is happy to host negativity and general nastiness about you and the forum you mod at is a strange (brave?) choice.

Nice rules in my opinion it might improve the forums somewhat. To those who might want to engage me in some circular discussion about FF or their continued obsession with long past events please note I only came to download some layouts so you will be wasting your energy (again).

If you had EVER done a thing for the scene except mod on here todd then I would have bothered replying earlier but I was sent to sleep by whatever you wrote - I'll try and remember the gist though and reply - my comment was not a negative (in response to the site controller ady) but was simply stating that serious rules should be put on here by serious mods who can be taken seriously - not one who simply swears and berates people as he hasn't got the ability to respond in any other way. And to threaten to be banned because I don't agree Todd is the correct bearer of news because of his attitude and how rude he is to members is in itself an indictment... The truth outs all... Seriously my comment was serious rules should have been put up by Adyb or Duplu as they are the only ones who are taken seriously then they will be much more likely to be understood and followed. I would respond in the expletive but I'll leave that up to Todd - unless he has banned himself?

Anyways..i seen your response to the rule changes as a deliberate 'dig' at me and so did others it has to be said.

I dont ever remember a time where i am classed as having an 'attitude' or 'being rude to other members' (well only those on the windup) im sure if i was other members wouldnt be shy in telling me.

As far as im concerned i keep myself to myself on here and do the job i was asked to do that is looking after the site as best i can.

If im not doing that properly im sure Duplu would be the first to PM me and tell me otherwise.

Well thanks for the serious reply - I can't fault that to be honest although I'd like to. My return key does work ok - but my power cables playing up and it's over that side of the computer so I'm doing my best to avoid it.
