All modern fruit machines are bad to be honest.

We accept that losing £20 in 7 minutes without even a win or a board is just one of those things. To call an episode like this 'Amusement with Prizes' is really an insult to my intelligence.

Obviously, we can't always win more than we wager but I'd expect a hell of a lot more amusement for my money. If I paid a woman £20 for a chance of a shag and got blown out without even copping a feel, I'd be most displeased to the point I'd complain. Yet we walk away from fruitys time and time again and do nothing.

Sorry for my comparison there but I'm not into deep thought right now.

Worst bandit I ever played was a 5p bank raid, I walked away after losing somewhere between £120 and £150, and still never got the £5 jackpot. My biggest win was £4, and I won £8 and a few 10ps all together on it. I have had bigger losses, and played worse machines, (magic 10's anyone) but at only 5p play, this had boredom in its favour!

I dont know why arcades are so fcking greedy these days, it seems to cost around £100 per hour these days for so called 'amusements with prizes', and I have to avoid most arcades now.

Thankfully there is a place I know that has 8 old classic jpm machines in it. Price of fun: around £10 per hour, and a lot less stressfull.

The Big Cheese

And all its clones - all nasty NASTY pieces of s**t. Played a couple in different pubs, chains and non chains, and they were all blocked at £1.60 per board until £20 forced round the back and then they almost woke up - generally lost a fair bit on each of em.

I thought that Andy Capp, VLV6! and most of their clones [theres loads lol] we all fair enough to play. Probably better on the £4 JP but still ok on the £6. I also agree however about the learning reel positions, played the new Tuppeny Nudger layout [flyer?!], and had the 10 nudges - you have to plan a win before nudging as it starts a timer when you do, and it really is tricky - even though I had the reel-editor up used as a map!!

I may be totally barking, but £125 lost in a 5p bank raid?!!! You total total fool. Never mind though, I'm sure we've all done similar things. I tried horse-racing one day - and turns out today that its rigged! [ :D ]

Look at your stake. If you have £25>£50 I would play between £5 and £15, any more you may as well play a £25, but stick with machines you have some idea of in terms of strategy, features and IM type. I once lost £100 over 2 days on £5 JP - worst was Neptunes Treasure [Monty clone?] - £17 in on £5 JP and no board. £1 extra and offered £1.60. Decided to keep my money and get a chinese and sulk lol :D

Yeah Ballinger Ridge, the one that got the 'best' jockey Fallon in so much trouble...I had £10 on that...would've won had he not been a cheating little...

The annoying thing is I can't complain too much cos i'm sure the guy has won me more than £10 in the past with excellent riding...

*grumble*

I still hate "Ready to rock" by the way, actually got my money back yesterday, more than I normally get. I wish they'd bring back the old fruitie they had in there...I like that one...it was kind. Hehe!
I'm back! yay!
