Hi hope this is in the right place this question.
i have a warped eclipse tech fruit machine and a couple of days ago it just died on us, there is a clicking noise coming out of what i presume is the speaker, and occasionally it makes a whirling noise and the display flashes up £35.00 but that is it nothing else appears and nothing works.
Does anyone know if there is a way that this can be fixed or is it all over for this machine? And if there is no way of repair is there a way of dumping the hopper when there is no power in the machine, or does it require a hammer?

Any help would be greatfully recieved

Many thanks

sound like a fuse has blown on the PSU

i suspect eclipse use the same PSUs (which i think are SANKEN) as epoch there for they are shit

you should just be able to pull the hopper out of its shelf were it sits on and manually take the coins out by hand

Unlikely to be the PSU in an eclipse machine, the box only contains a transformer.
More likely to be the mpu, what led's are lit on the mpu?
located above the % key i think, two of them should be on and the other one should be flashing to indicate that the program / system is running,

Also, is there any power to the reels (are they stiff), the regulation cap's on those boards can go and take an age for the 12v to get up to the correct level (hence check the reels & look at the meter - if meter is not on then no 12v)

Hi roderz, thanks for that i have had a look and think i have found the leds one is lit the one with power written next to it but the other 2 which says running and security next to it are not lit. The reels spin freely, but each real has an led and they are all lit. Any ideas?
Thanks Michael

So it's defo not running then if the second led is off - the security should be flashing,

Check that the program / flash module is seated correctly (the green bit in the middle of the mpu)

Does it still have the 3 plastic nut's fitted to ensure it doesn't come loose? or are they missing (a good sign that someone has fiddled with it before - as they never seem to fit them back on)

Have you tried leaving it switched on for a while - 10mins+, if it's the regulation stuffed, sometimes they will power up eventually and give an error, then if rebooted quickly will be fine.

Other than that your looking at a replacement mpu

Hi Michael. I have the exact motherboard that you need, it is the Eclipse/Epoch MPU, it already has the Warped £35 software loaded onto it, so you wouldn't need to do this (and try finding a card with the Warped software... virtually impossible!). Basically, you'd swap my MPU with the one you already have in your machine. Should take less than 10 minutes.

If you'd like it, its £25 which includes postage and packaging.

JUst PM me if you'd like it, cheers :)
