Hi,
In MFMEv3 there's a lovely option that lets me change thw window size. Meaning that my couple of roms which have layouts slightly too big for the screen are able to be used full screen and are shrunk to fit.
However, i need to use MFME 10.1 to play some of my roms... is there per chance a similar option hidden away that i cant find?

No, the shrinkage option was 3.2 specific.
There is a tutorial, but broadly you should take layouts that fit to your maximum screen size. You can swap the screen round, helps with laptops, but other than that things like 1600 dx's are a no no unless you have a 1600 sceen.

i found out that v3.2 was the only one that could do it, but some machines don't play in v3.2.
nvidia gfx (yuk, prefer ati) saved the current 1024x768 as a profile. Made a new profile for 1280x1024 and selected nvidia in tray option, can now switch resolutions any time. Haven't done 1660x yet trying to find sollutions to other problems first.
Do also disable save taskbar position (untick it). This is in the profile settings when making it. Or else your icons will get messy going between different profiles. Also i find when up resolution best not to resort the screen icons for the same reason.
Shame that auto reolution resize was dropped from latter versions, its still needed. Maybe if it was there we could have full screen fruits for all mfme machines. Would also be nice to drag resize the fruit frame so always have the machine only in view. A save option for keeping as user likes would also of been nice.

Folk are right mate you need to do some reading because you are making yourself look silly with your posts.
v3.2 is actually newer in certain respects to v10.1. 10.1 was a leaked emulator which is actually older than 3.2. After the leak no more MFME for the public.
If you privately want to put your points across PM the coder at the Mecca site. He is called Wizard.

Need to do some reading, this post is great for reading
True haven't been playing these for long, well as long as i've been a member here. Didn't think anything of beign 'looking silly' by posting in the 'Help & Advice' part of the forum. After all its the place to ask questions isn't it ?
But please if you know some good reading material, that will bring me up to speed quickly post the urls. I have read and watched the tutorials here, more would be good.

Look for the member they call Mr House - one of his threads has a brilliant document about the very early history of emulation and a few of the characters who were around at the time - some are still here - cannot seem to get rid of 'em - like shit on a hotel blanket some might say:D
