Hi,
My JPM Eachway nudger Mk 2 has started to try and pay out £1 coins. It does not accept them, only taking 10p, 20p & 50p. Only the 10p coins enter a payout tube and up to now have always paid out correctly. When I got the machine the 20p coins go straight to the money box & the 50p coins enter the payout tube but this has a piece of wood in the tube to make the coins fall into the money box as well.
Now with any wins of £1 or £2 you hear it try and pay out 1 or 2 coins.
Does anyone know where the fault is?
Thanks
Jonski

Sounds first of all, like a dip-switch setting, so would check it's MPU for this setting.
The other, is the tube-level sensors, but is quite easy to sort, by making sure the £ sensor at of the bottom of the £ tube slot, is sat in the hole of the £ tube.
If you need additional assistance with this, would suggest trying the guy's @ The Mecca, who deal in a number of classic machines, like this.

yeah sounds like your £1 sensor on the tube is not in the slot correctly so the machine thinks the tube has £1 coins in it.
or the sensor is faulty.

Thanks for your help - £ sensor has slipped. All the payouts are now correct apat from the jackpot. All you hear is one of the meters counting up but no payout at all.
