I must admit that I only ever look at forum posts on the home page. However, today I went into the forums and came across the arcade....

This is a very nice extra to an excellent site and I have started to make my mark by getting a few of the high scores!!!

How many of you guys are also keen mame fans???

I think the arcade is great, I hope someday it would be possible to play fruit machines there too and have top scores for them also

MAME is class Max.........Especially to me as an old-un...can play all those games I bunked off school to play in the Arcades 20 odd years ago......

They have got a couple of fruit machines over on the pound run arcade.. I see Duplo has beaten my SURF record, guess i better go and get that back.. I have regained my SHOOTEMUP crown already

Have to agree, nice to see the arcade, a welcome addition to site. Good range of games on it for all types of players :)

I haven't used mame yet, never really played 'arcade' games, although I do emulate several consoles [Nes, Snes, GB, GBA, N64, GameCube, PS1, Spectrum :D]

It's up there but not quite the best which smashes your hi score theory. I think you will keep it for a while though..... My best is 1

I see my Pacman hi has been beaten - Space Invaders is pretty safe though

I managed to get as far as 20, i'm sure I could get a bit further - but I doubt i'd ever get to 50+

I'd get too frustrated and trash my pc before I got that far.

i have got the highest score on funky pong took me 3 days solid to bet dulpu after he beat my score.it will take some beating now

Thats the trouble some games just get you pissed off and angry and you don't want to try them for more than a few minutes. Mario being one of them.

The penguin one, how the f*** do you get 3000 on it when the furthest possible is like barely over 300?

The penguin spankin one is fairly easy to get over 3000, you just need to time it right! lol! I didn't cheat, honest

I can't equal those at the top though i'm a few behind, looks like they have the maximum distance you can get though...

Liam, there isn't any cheating going on. What happens it that when you post your socre, it gets multiplied by ten. Say I get a distance of 300 in the game. When I post that score it becomes 3000. That is all that is happening,
