I have been fixing a machine i have called wild thing running on an Impact mpu. I got it working except for one small problem. when it has to pay out, it gives an error 100p hopper jam. i changed the hopper and this was still the case so its not the hopper. I put the machine into test mode and tested the payout. When i try to payout a £1 coin, the hopper turns slightly. i have to push the collect button about 5-6 times for a coin to pay out. on the other hand, the 10p hopper pays out fine. It seems like there is a very low voltage going to the £1 hopper but I just don't know and not sure how to fix this.

Anyone come accross this before or know how i could fix it? Thanks.

have u ever thought of going on a service engineer's course or employing someone who can fix machines for you. or better still think about giving something back to the site like a kind donation as all u ever seem to do is ask questions about how to fix your machines all the time. be a good chap and donate a lil something back instead of take take take

I'm going to have to agree with lincsleisure... I mean people ask for help on here for personal machines and stuff - and that's fine, as they don't really profit from it.

However, as you are a business, and are using the advice here to make money (through the arcade), I think at donation would be a good gesture :)

Pmsl ;)

Have to agree also with Ben and Lincs out of 27 threads created every one (apart from 1) has got summat to do with a broken machine.

I mean there are some nice guys on here that really know thier stuff about machines..asking a couple of times for help fair enough..but 26 or 27 in just over a year is going over the score a little.

Anyway..not getting on your back about it just trying to see it from others POV.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)
