I have a Top Giza (from red gaming) in my house and is set on free play (by openign the front door).

On free play is there a persistant £10 block on? I have played at lt least £600 worth of free credits, and although I have been given the top feature, and got £15+ from red features, i have NEVER been able to gamble passed £10 on the cash trail. Always kills me. EVERY TIME.

I know there is a £10 block when playing them normally and experience of playing thme in pubs, but this one seems persistant (on free play)!!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Aside from cheating (with the doors open you can manipulate the reels, bonuses e.t.c.) then I'm not really sure.

What about the skill-stop on the nudge stack, is that never giving the Red 7s?

Pretty sure the old 'number stepper' method will work on that machine as well - if it gives number stepper as a bonus, you can hold the reels and force out a good cash win instead of letting it step enough numbers in to get you on the feature.

To be honest, door open mode is not free play. Lots of people call it that, but it's not. All it is, is a demonstration mode. That's why everything is manipulatable - so that if say you've replaced a component which is used by the machine (say the number reel) you can keep forcing situations which use the reel to make sure it's OK. You can also see what all the features do.

The only real way to do 'free play' would be force the machine into believing you were inserting credits, and then mess about with the payout opto(s) so that the machine didn't error when you collected a bank - that way the machine would be in it's normal mode, but you'd not risk - or win - money.

Anyway, the way the manipulation works is normally as follows, I'm sure it's the same for Red machines.

1) Holding the 1st Hold button (or sometimes it's cancel, but it's normally the first hold button) will : slow down choices (like bonuses), force wins on gambles (so if you hold the button you will win ALL hi-lo and turbo gambles).

2) Holding in another button - no guarantee as it varies from machine to machine but it's often the feature exchange or transfer button - will allow you to manipulate the fruit reels on the bottom glass, as long as you are not on the feature or on a bonus. Just try holding say the exchange button, and with that pressed, try pressing a hold button - with any luck the reels will step. You are normally offered a hold straight after you let go, so you can force any reel win out.

Hi this is my first time on here so i hope im in the right place ,im after some help with a fruit machine ,its called a geronimo impulse ,it is set on 25p play and pay out £25 i need to put it to 10p play and £5 pay out ,ive got a stake changer ,but it sends off an alarm on the machine so i think the software needs changing ,but how do i do this ,the people i got the machine was a proper company but they let me down three times can you help,cheers trevor.
