I've now got the club flyer so the decal change can commence to the £25 jp version just have to suss the disk reel out now and were away.

Just curious about this disk reel working as when I loaded the roms into the emulator the disk reel kept spinning and spinning???...well actually I was using a fancy reel...can tommy or ploggy tell me what im doing wrong...just that im interested im not going to nick (lol) the layouts or anthing.

I'm using a fancy reel for the moment until i guess how to work the disk out i'ts kind of a guide but the reel is bang on and stops on the correct amounts i need it to.I've set it at 20 stops/offset 2 and 400 motor steps.Just curious about this disk reel working as when I loaded the roms into the emulator the disk reel kept spinning and spinning???...well actually I was using a fancy reel...can tommy or ploggy tell me what im doing wrong...just that im interested im not going to nick (lol) the layouts or anthing.

Ok i've got the disk reel spinning but the trouble now is it won't stop spinning so gonna have a good mess about and see if it can be sorted.

Yes got the disk reel working properly and booting properly just have to get the sync order correct to correspond with the decals:). Whent to a party yesterday so didn't do any more.any luck yet tommy?

Sure someone can confirm this but disk reels are supported in 9.4 but not in 10.1 (sure I saw Ploggy mentioning this somewhere). Or is it the other way around?

Yeah thats correct they work in 9.4 but just give errors in 10.1

dunno yetdo i sense you planning on redoing battle axe with a proper disk reel?
For my own experiment, im not doing the Legionnire project, read the following....
I can't seem to suss the disk reel one...but I can suss a workaround using a fancy reel in Legionnaire...I got all the segments correct..see reel 5 ....Look pic bellow

Disc reels will only work on S4 machines. MPU5 machines still need workarounds, and can't use proper disc reels.

Hello again all i've run in to a real problem with the disk reel on this layout so it is gonna be released for 10.1 with a fancy reel work around.As the disk wasnt perfectly round it is impossible to get the transparacy bang on and white bits keep showing up so theres no point releasing a half job disk reel.So i've been advised to use a work around as this was a photo based dx to start off with sorry for the delay on this.
