I have a red gaming machine, which I usually play on demo mode - I have just decide to try the coin slot for the first time.

It takes silver no problem, but will not take pound coins, they come straight back out. Could the coin mech be installed incorrectly?

Any help would be good, it is MPU5 I believe.

Thanks
Dave

does the coin mech feel and look if it is in correctly.

if it is taking silver no problem then it should take pound coins.

open the flap on the coin mech where it tells you what type of coin mech it is and use a damp cloth and clean the area behind the flap.(you shouldn't have to take the mech out).

use a dry cloth to clear any wetness and then try the pound coins.

if still no luck then its a faulty coin mech.

let me know what type you have and i can maybe source a new one if you need it.
