Hi all, just found this forum and have been having a good look around and have downloaded some very good emulator roms. Excellent site!
I have owned a few fruit machines in the past but only have one left now which the kids play with, it's an old Monopoly 60 machine by JPM.
I was wondering if there were any manuals / service manuals that can be downloaded about this machine?
I would like to tinker around inside the machine but I would like to know what exactly i'm looking at when opening the back.
Also there is a normal switch in the back(not dip switch) on the inside right of the machine that does something, but i don't know what.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Rob

So if I switch it I can put tokens in or it will pay out in tokens??
The machine has be changed apparently so it will only pay out in money and not tokens.

Thank you for the reply pager.
The Monopoly 60 machine I have only pays out in cash ,£8 jackpot. I would like to know how to change this to £10 or £15 jackpot.
Being an electrician and a bit of a computer building freak I do like tinkering about with electrical things, and inside a back of a fruit machine looks very tempting to play with.
I like to know what switch does what and what part of a circuit board runs what ever.
I have changed the pay out to 80% with a little blue chip that a fruit machine shop gave me many years ago.
The chip that was in there before had dip switches and the number 1 dip switch was always set to on, the others were all off. I still have the switch.
Not sure how to set the % with this type of switch though....anyone know??
Anyone have a service manual?
Kind Regards to all

Pretty sure this is controled by the games card in this machine, and would require a change of roms to change price of play / JP.
I can tell you, that this machine will almost certanaly run on the Impact platform, of which there is two versions.
Main easy way to tell which version you have, is how many add-on cards you have fitted into it's main MPU board.
v1 normaly has 3 cards, with v3 just having the one, and is something I know with having a club type machine, in the same style cab.
I do have a manual of sorts, but it's for a different game to what I have, but it has more than enough info about the hardware side, to help with any hardware issues.
Be best to go over to The Mecca, and grab the following, which should help: The MPU Mecca
Also, the guy's at The Mecca, can poss help out with changing the price of play / jp, but to be honest, the game version you have, is about the best version out there.
Some pic's of my clubber, which should give you a rough working idea, as to where stuff should be: http://s233.photobuc...4/Bandits/GUAB/

Am pretty sure the dip switches on this change price of play,high/low token ratio payout etc.
I think you'd need some new roms making up to change it to £15 play, the £10 play I'd give a miss if I was you as I think there was trouble with corrupt rams, well thats the problem I had anyway and was told by a few people they hadn't heard of a £10 upgrade.
As said contact the MPU mecca I'm sure someone will help you out.
