Something i'm missing for more enjoyable experience, coin sounds of realistic money dropping to the tray on a payout.
Maybe there's some files i can add, or better a patch. Which can simulate without audio error the correct ammount of couns dropping into the tray. Even for the older machines like clubs ones where there's a brief pause before it stops before spitting out more on big jackpots.
Or how about the sickening sound of a solenoid. Where the money is stuck or no cash available to payout.
I'm sure i'm not alone in thinking these are missing and would be nice to have for all machines.

the Bellfruit emulator has payout sounds. i think that the guy's who develop mfme have enough problems with the software to worry about the payout sounds? but i don't know! i'd like to hear the hopper spinning round and then alarm goes off cause it's empty!!! LOL.

I disagree - in Vegas they have done away with machines that pay out your actual money and instead the casinos are now deafened with fake coin dropping sounds whilst a little slip of paper pops out for you to take the cash desk. My guess is they will do away with the payout trays completely when the newer machines are introduced.

What and also have no cash sounds of coins dropping in. Use casino cards of own bank cards. Great that'll ensure a lot of the enjoyment s taken away. Though it is defening in those big places with cash paying in and out of machines, i can see why they would want to do that.
But the buzz on a big payout is lost if silent. Do those simualted casiono machine coin payout sounds, sound like cash falling into the tray. Where it's not all just one sound but a many sounds, of coins dropping into the tray and onto other coins. Whilst other coins are bouncing and sliding around.
Code yeah sure, this is what i know, and maybe this isn't correct.
10 print "Fruit-Emu";
20 goto 10
I don't know if much would need doing, the rom would have some signal showing paying like the meters etc. Using that or some other way for knowing when to play sounds, for each value another sampled coin sound. Much like the machine wheels have sounds for them.

Unfortunately, it's going to be pushed, and who can blame them? (the AWP industry), take away the headache of paying out coins, and the security that has to go with it, then have all cash drop into one secure location, AND all wins to transferred to a secure card, which can be cashed in anytime.
More security for all involved. I'm all for it..and lets face it, todays jackpots of 70 quid, and streaks of 150 plus, means that pound coins are treated like 10ps from back in the day.
Throw in B3 machines of 500 JP's, and hopper headaches associated with them, and people lugging around huge amounts of pound coins from machine to machine, it is all going towards swipe cards with PIN numbers or similar, either pre-paid or linked to your bank account in some secure fashion.
You can't stop progress, but you can still bitch about it.

There be some ripe picking for the card cloners etc. Then there's the if its computer related it can always be defeated.
But if emulated can then choose to have it for all payouts or just jackpots, or how user chooses it to be.
Oh.. fruit machines become like atm's, i can see that happening also. Problem with that customers then lose annonminity. Then known instantly to each casino country wide, via the card used. Frought withsecurity loopholes and whether any or all customers would welcome this, and knowing their details. One thing they know, it will be easier way to gain multiples of more revenue with it. Good morning sir/misses says the machine, insert your card to play, it all becomes just numbers after that for credit availabilty.
