Hi All,

I found a zip file on the internet ( not on this site ) called
Deal Or No Deal Let's Play Deal Or No Deal (Bellfruit) [Rom].zip

Inside the zip file, are 14 files, which look something like this ..
95008792.bin
95426343.hi
95426342.lo
There is NOT a .gam file

Being an avid user of the FME for many moons, ive been stumped on this one to get these files to work with our beloved MFME.

Am i missing something else which i need to do/, as i have been out of the loop for a while i may not have picked up on some new stuff, any suggestions on how i can play these files be appricated.

These are just the files which make up the ROM for the machine.

3 things are need to run an emulation..a layout file DX or classic..the ROM and the emulator to bring them all together and run them.

At the moment we do not have an emulator that can run DOND ROMS nor will we have in the immediate future im afraid.

That being the case you thought you would have know that you need a layout not just roms to play in MFME and also you would need an MFME that could emulate this layout, which ATM there is not one publicly available.

Not 100% sure on that myself..but i believe an Eprom reader is used and the ROM (chip) out of the machine..which the Eprom reader converts into Hex code.

Then the programmer of the emulator makes the emulator understand and deal with this Hex code..which in turn makes the 'machine' run.

Im probably totally wrong..but thats my basic understanding of it.

Same here, i would say the same for epoch 1 for the Homers Meltdown etc.

No it is suggesting that one exists but is not publicly available. For example no doubt Wizard has an MFME that runs loads of new techs etc but he will not publicly release it.

Just me being silly, but I take it you experts here have seen these rom files too on DOND which i have found?
if not, im willing to share or point you where they lurk.

PS. When i say avid user, yes i am i just usually look for the .gam file and load in and play that, what else is in the zip file which accompanies is usually of no interest to me what they are. I wouldnt need to worry if the fruits work.~ sorry!
