Hi everyone, does anyone know if it is possible to set a float of your own choice on a machine? It seems that it's £125 only on my two (both Red Gamings), and I was wondering whether there is a way perhaps to set them to have a £50 float, or something else (lower than £125) ie by using the Refill Key, or is it somethig that can only be changed via EEPROM programming?

Cheers to everyone.

simple, insert £50 in coins and then do a hopper top-up.

£50 is now the maximum it can hold.

Cheers for your reply Nails, I'll give that a go mate. Also, I am now officially back on the scene, I've been looking back at some of my really old posts and god I make myself appear as some complete twat sometimes lol, all I can blame that on was being young :biglaugh:. It also seems all I ever come on here for is to ask for help about my stupid stuff all the time, so from now on I am going to get replying to other peoples posts and do my best to help them out and I would like to contribute to the site in the future with emulations etc.

Cheers again mate.

On A Roll: Right, I put £5 coins in the hopper, put the machine into test and then dumped the contents of the hopper so the machine read "Float=5.00", I then pressed the hoppers topped up switch and started to play the machine, when it was going to pay out £1 coins (obviously it didn't because the hopper was empty I checked how much it needed to be refilled and it was "Refill 1 PND x 5", so that's all good, just how I want that one to be.

Pay Cheque: Did the same as above but this time when the machine went empty it read "Refill 1 PND x 130". It's confused me why one machine knows it's empty and the other one don't, I did the exact same procedure to both machines but Pay Cheque appears empty in the refill menu where as On A Roll will only read something like "Refill 1 PND x 5" if I have just won £5 from it. Both machines have no note acceptors on them.

My float of choice would be 'Thomas The Tank Engine' armbands... excellent value too. :)

Red gaming machine float levels are a wee bit different if i rember .... insted of the float being 125 as most 25JP machines are there somthing like 150 or 130 and the bank gets full at 60 insted of 75 on a 25JP
