Right I need to get this question answered, this machine DOND the big deal set at £70 jackpot and 25p 50p or £1 a spin. Is the CASH OR BUST meant to work or not? I have had a massive barmy with the guy who owns some arcades in my home town because he says that the cash or bust button is not meant to work on DOND the big deal. This is my argument........

In the alpha when playing the game it clearly says CASH OR BUST will be such and such. But when you try and hit the button it does nothing, even when you are on a question mark. So I moaned like mad as it said whilst playing that CASH OR BUST will be mega streak. But the owner still insists it's not meant to work. Well hang on when the machine first came in the CASH OR BUST button use to light up and had CASH OR BUST written on it. He then took the bit out that said it and left it blank.

I have since been back on it and to my horror found that the collect streak is not working so thought to myself enough is enough and got on the phone to MR BELL FRUIT. The lady on reception was very nice and passed me over to a very nice guy in the technical department. I told him about the machine gave him all the info. He phoned me back after talking to the people that make it and he said that the button should work if it's in the program and is being displayed on the alpha. I took this info back to the owner of the arcade and I am awaiting his reply. He told me that he had contacted bellfruit today and they had told him that the button did not work. Why the fook is it on the alpha that cash or bust will be £70 or lose or what ever if the bloody button dose not work. Can any of you guys please confirm if this button is meant to work or not. See the pictures you can see that the cash or bust has been removed from the button. Also see this video to see the button not working. YouTube - cash or bust is bust :(

I am just pissed that I cant get the owner to pay up for the fact that his machine is bust. I lost again the other day because the streak button was not working had super streak and wanted to collect it but no joy it was BUST

It works here. I have a vid somewhere I think of it being used

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

no mention of it on Bellfruit website although the video for the machine shows it flashing in feature. Why would they have it on the machine or flashing if it doesn't work?

Sounds like the owner is on the shifty...

See this is one of the biggest problems in the industry.

I hve been more put off playing machines by b******d robbing staff and owners than I have ever been by losing my money fairly.

And it seems so apparent that with the exception of only a few plces, you get robbed blind, ither by staff or by the emptiers going round leaving machines dead as hell.

At 70% you would think they could be as lavish as casino's which pay much highr percentages lol.

May I just add Two little comments (unrelated as such to the thread topic)

Firstly, full marks on BF at calling back---not only so quickly either.

Secondly they are pretty sound within the FME scene.....thanks to them for that too. :notworthy:

if it helps played this today in the wetherspoons in bexleyheath.

hit cash or bust and got £20 no problem

also for clarification collected the streak on a ? and won £28 on a green streak!!

I have played this alot in all pubs, arcades and the cash or bust button always worked.

Some Deal or no deals didn't have cob buttons but when changed to £70 jackpot this was added to them (ie dream factory)

sounds to me like a classic case of a guy who works in an arcade full of technology, and knows jack about any of it.

just to let u know its not the people that work in the arcade itself i have the problem with but the guys who come and try to fix the machines. They use to be ok. When they was in the arcade they would fill ya credits up with about 20 to 30 £'s but not so much any more. I have been asking him top put some lapms on the reels of a 10p machine for like 9 months now with no bloody joy.
