hi guys

im trying to run the mfme emulator bot most of the games i download dont work all i get is rom file not found sound file not found can anyone help me im stuck on what to do by the way its the one that runs andy capp and such many thanx

it sounds like you have downloaded only the layout file, try downloading the rom as well and unzipping it to the same folder as the layout.

sorry but i thought most of the fruits on here came with rom and dx layouts included is this not true

Hi Turboshandy,

The layouts may come with ROMs, which will be shown by the following files included :

game.DAT > Layout file
game.GAM > File containing settings for game, names of ROMs, e.t.c
game.HEX
game.P1 > Rom files may end with any of there extensions.
game.BIN /

If you can see that the ROMs as well as the layout are there, but you are getting the 'roms not found' errors, you will need to edit the .GAM file. Shouldn't be any need though.

Also, if a machine doesn't come with ROMs in the layout file, they should be easy enough to find in Downloads/MPU34 ROMs or something like that, or by going into downloads and using the search button.

it works im trying to get cashstrike pdx to work any ideas i get sound file not and rom file not found ive looked for the roms but cant find them in the downloads section any help plz

That will be because they are empire

Turbo you'll find no Empire games here because that's the request of Empire themselves (very sad because it would make a blinding addition to the emu scene) (see previous post's).....They are possible to emulate but all you are trying to run is an image of a machine full-stop.
