Anyone know if it's possible to supress the attract mode on an MPU5 machine? :err:

I have an eclipse based machine in supress mode so it is not so in your face plus it should help with lower consumtion when it comes to electricity, i have read the manual and it seems to indicate dil switch 4 but when i flick the switch it still seems to be in full attract mode?

I have two MPU5 machines and both seem to have this problem, either that or im doing something wrong! :arghh:

right is on switch bank 2 ( which is the main board and its switch number 4 )

Push switch number 4 to the left to enable the switch and restart the machine and shut the door and attract mode should switch off

Well, you've listed two completely different bits of hardware already - MPU5 is Barcrest Group hardware (Barcrest, Vivid, Extreme, e.t.c.) and Eclipse is Games Media and Gemini (Global, AC Games,e.t.c.). If you give us the machine name it would help :)

You sure? That sounds more like Photo mode to me.

You mis read my post, i listed two bits of kit because i have two bits of kit. lol

It's the barcrest machines i am having the problem with as the supress mode works on the eclipse machine. ;)

The machines in question are sub zero and lifes a beach, will try what has been posted above.

Done that yet seems to be in full attract mode still, both machines come with a manual and both say the same as you but it makes no difference! How weird is that. Oh well we tried! Lol

Edit: 1.7.5 – Option Switches
Two sets of eight DIL selector switches are available for setting game options.
SW1 is found on the MPU5 unit and SW2 is on the program card.

Ok so if i flip switch 4 on the programme module the pint glass is no longer lit but the horse is. I belive the pint to be pub mode and the horse is for a betting shop? Either way there are just as many lights lit on the thing in either mode!
