I agree with everyones comments...Stevedude you echoed exactly what i have been saying for ages.

I got rid of my AGC over a year ago, didnt even sell it, just closed it. I couldnt sell it even if i had bothered to try, its a dead industry now.

The reasons are simple in my opinion:
70% payouts
B3's (previously s16)
Manufacturers making their programmes BLOCKED for anything that gives the punter the slightest edge
Increased stake and prize
Loss of MAYGAY group and JPM withdrawing from the AWP market (they are dabbling again but very poor attempt)
Deal or no deal x 1,000,000!

Bell fruit should be shot.

I personally loved the token days,

All my stuff will be 80% or higher, and as original program as possible.

As for the Quicksilver chap, i have nothing against your establishments, but your machines are just normal run of the mill video reels....lose or win big QUICK with no gameplay!

Agora, Riva gaming....all the same.

;)

When are u opening your arcade up?? This week??

I *think* the arcade is opening up this Saturday.

bollocks, half the people that play machines these days wouldn't touch an old machine...oooooo you won a friggging huge £3 yay :jiggy::jiggy::nah:

After giving the machines a play test for a few days, the jackpots repeat a lot. A lot of the machines can do £30+ runs, even the ones on £3 and £4 JP. And you don't need to put tons of money through the machine for that either.

Seems that people have lost the sense of my fruit machines exist. Entertainment yes, but in the end to generate a profit. However if a machine can make you enjoy losing your money..and still come back for more..then that is the whole point of AWP's

There's nothing better than hitting a Big Money repeat after working fairly hard at a good skill cash, and being rewarded for it. Nothing. Maygays and BFM's where good for that, and then crap coding from JPM killed their share of the market, then all cash moved in, which was still a good game, but anything over 15 quid repeat, is asking for huge periods of dull gameplay.

Your business will hopefully waken up some of the hard core 70 quid cash, and bring them down to a level where 10 quid is a day out.

Good luck..sincerely

Jaime

Sadly due to a technical fault and things not going as smoothly as planned the opening is delayed until Saturday 7th November.

Even the promotional stuff failed to arrive, thanks to Royal Mail.

The CCTV has only just been cleared by Customs as its imported.

The sign people have to correct some errors.

Im pulling my hair out and need to buy a wig!:arghh:

Anyone wanting further details PM me.

Also a BIG thank you to DSK you have been very helpful, i think it would be xmas opening if you had not helped as much!:notworthy:

As for the post for £70 machines, they (in my opinion) are one of the final nails for the industry.

I operate my machines so they give FUN. Yes they need a LOT of play to actually make a good profit, but they are sought after, simple, streaking machines that can offer a better buzz than ANY £70 machine on the market can do. Remember whilst £5 is no life changing jackpot, £70 is not either. Also with that ratio, 5p is (even in this climate) an affordable stake, whilst £1 per game prices MANY people out of the game.

Anyway, Have a great weekend everyone, SO SORRY im not quite ready to open just yet.

Will keep you posted....;)

I split this topic, the end part ending up in the Abyss now.
Let's try and keep this topic nice and friendly now........As allegations of kidnapping and fraud, and the arguments that follow is nothing that new people are going to want to be seeing here.

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Arcade is pretty much ready, only a couple of machines to fix as far as i am aware. I'm going tonight (if he is there) to finish installing the cctv and speaker system. Did an all nighter on Monday/Tuesday and i'm still knackered.

Hi!

SORRY!

Please forgive me for not keeping everyone updated!

As you can imagine, as the machines are getting that much older now, i have been very busy servicing them!

Its been hard work, a HUGE thank you to 'DSK' for being such a help.

The cash counter was a nightmare to sort out.

Just the following down (awaiting boards or proccessor cards)
Roller Coaster (Software, board and proccessor)
Snakes & Ladders (board and proccessor)
Fortune Wheel (board)
Sevens & Melons (board)
MAB Systems Bar X (not sure, need to have a proper look)
Thrills and Spills (needs new software)
Hotpots (should sort in time)

The Rainbow Gambler (subelectro) is now all re-sprayed and kicking, a MASSIVE thank you to TTX for that.

The Cromptons Crane is a mind boggler too.

I know it sounds silly, and as a operator i SHOULD know this, but does anyone know where i can purchase a rom burner, and reader so i can burn software as i want to backup all of my roms and because i need new software URGENT i could then download it. Also it would be fantastic if i could upload it to this site, or to someone who can distribute it to all you emulator wizards. Anyone who could point me in the right direction ??? PLEASE!!!!??

Also if anyone on here can repair SCORPION 2 BFM boards then i have around a dozen, and i will pay for your services. I do not know anyone with a test rig for them.

Also i have some machines, they are missing boards/psu/mechs but can leave payslides in, FREE to collector, or will be scrapped. All FULLY WORKING if boards and psu acquired, sorry im really short. They are MONEY SPINNER (Empire Games), LAS VEGAS STRIP (Barcrest) and SUPERPOTS (Maygay) ALL IN GOOD CONDITION AND FREE. Please let me know ASAP. If not they will be scrapped.

Many thanks everyone, i look forward to meeting and putting 'tags' to names and to faces!

Dave
