Anyone remember Partytime and JPM's Fairground?
Partytime I think would be a BFM emulation - it was the same type cabinet as that Mike Reid fruity (I may be wrong here). I remember piling loads of coins into it just to get it's silly roll that would always give £30+
You could tell when the machine was going to pay as every couple of spins the reels would go into slow motion and some strange balloons would appear on the display to tell you what your win was. I'm not going mad am i?!?
Then there was Fairground - a favourite of mine that you would generally do no worse than break even on!
Are either of these emulateable?
Has Gladiator and Coronation Street (2 versions of this - the one with Rover's Return at the end) been emulated yet?

Ermmm (memory joggin)....I think it was you know. You had to get three balloons on the winline for the feature which seemed to come in with a strange regularity. JPM symbols £3 repeater was the way forward with this machine.

From what I remember, Fairground is a JPM System 5 machine, as as such can't be emulated at this moment in time.
Never heard of Partytime apart from the NASTY NASTY Astra version, and so can't comment

Yeh, that's right - but has the System5 tech just not been emulated as of yet, or is it still subject to copyright, like MPU5, Scorpion4, etc
I'd love all these old ones on my screen, along with System8/MPS2 of course...maybe in subsequent releases of MFME - how's that going, BTW?

In answer to The Infectors earlier question, both versions of Corrie and a classic version of Gladiators are available for download on this site. Just click on the downloads tab at the top of the screen and do a search for them.
Let's smash Partytime.
