I have got 777 Heaven with Double 9 Roms, I was wondering if these operate exactly the same as the original 777 Heaven roms? If my memory serves me corrrectly there were a couple of features that I haven't noticed after playing this emu a fair few times. On the original 777 Heaven machine you often got 'invisible' holds on the jackpot (the holds flashed very quickly) and also when the nudge now light didn't light up you got bonus nudges. These features seem to be missing when using the Double 9 roms and also the sound is different. Can I get the 'proper' 777 Heaven roms and sound files anywhere?

From what I remember the original 777 Heaven is a Project machine, on the Proconn [sp?] tech, and so could only be emulated if you have a Proconn emulator.
....and there isn't one! So at the moment we end up with Hybrid machines, which don't play like the original necessarily but are as close as you can get without the original roms.

Simply unzip the 777 Heaven layout and then unzip the Double 9 roms and place all the bits into a single folder. Load up MFME1.1 click 'File' then 'Load Game' and find the folder with the bits you recently zipped to. Once found, click on '777 Heaven DX' and it shall load up.
Remember though, this layout only looks like 777 Heaven. The sounds, reels and gameplay are from the machine Double 9's which is a totally different machine.

i think the double 9's do have invisible holds on wins but its very rare, it happens on chance too rather than the hold buttons quickly flashing once. If a win comes in, just press holds in case!!. I had it on single bars not too long ago.
Instead of the bonus nudges trick, with double 9's roms, if you get 2 matching boxed symbols on the winline and holds are flashing, you can either hold them both and get 1 nudge on the next spin (possibly for the win) or you let em spin and get 3 nudges which usually gives you a win.
This applies to any game running double 9 roms!
