hi ive just turned my machine on and out of no were ive got a alarm and its saying MEM RESET ALARM 4.2 plz help its a italian job by maygay

leave it for a bit (about an hour) and try it again

if this doesnt work the battery on the motherboard has gone dead

check the board to see if the battery has leaked it could damage the board

hi if it is the battery how do i replace that and i tryd the machine yesterday and the alarm went off and tryd again today and just the same problem thanks

must be the battery then

im not too sure on this one

some machine the battery usually need to be re solderd but because this is epoch tech ( assuming it the 2nd italian job ) the battery may need to be resolderd on

as i said before the battery is not leaking is it

hi mate just had a good look in the machine and nope not a leake it gets to me how 1day its fine then the next its broke haha also i have a great escape machine made by maygay and same again with this 1day it was fine then the next when ive put it on theirs no alarm or nothing but no lights or nothing are comeing on theirs just a strip of red lights on in the back of the machine any help with that please

to answer you question to the other machine id say maybe the game card is loose , full of shit or some how blown because of static .... im not too sure as great escape is M1A/M1B and I dont even know what these boards look like but id say with all lights on the board lit (one may be a HALT light representing a fault like no program so it cannot be displayed on the machne in anyway ) but all the other lights should represent the machine has got full power and that the fault is either something very simple or very serious .... somtimes just 'wrggling' a few wires can do the trick but im not 100% certain
