Hello All,

In my previous post some mentioned it is possible my machine has a battery leak on my MPU4 board.
But I don't know how to open this board, does someone have a step by step (with pictures) guid how to diasassemble this board?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

The MPU4 unit, is normaly held in, by one push rod for anchoring the frame housing to the inside of the machine, and for the mpu itself, has 4 black slide catches, two on each side, that you just slide up / down, to release the top of the housing, to access the mpu board inside.

Thanks you all.
In the afternoon I will try to open the MPU.
I hope my battery has not leaked......
As I'm going crazy about the "door open" problem.

Pic of the MPU4 cradle.

Move the 4 catches towards the centre, lid should lift strait off

On these, the battery will normally be blue, and have three legs coming off it, two are +, one is -, and will normally be a 2.4v version, though sometimes they can be a 3.6v, and nearly always have Varta Mempac stamped onto the top.
